The \"Parco Zoo Punta Verde\" is located in Lignano Riviera on a bend of the river Tagliamento. It is home to over 1000 animals belonging to over 150 different species, coming from all over the world.<\/p>\n

The centre of Lignano Pineta offers many shops open until late in the evening. While you are walking, you can eat an ice cream, stop for dinner in one of the many restaurants and watch some shows in the squares.<\/p>\n

I Gommosi<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/header>

In Lignano Pineta in the Parco del Mare there is the play ground I Gommosi.
\nThis park is for the children from 1 to 12 yeas and there are only inflatable games. Access is allowed only to children, while parents can relax on a park bench, sipping a drink and always watching the children.<\/p>\n

Lignano Sabbiadoro offers a good network of cycle path to move around the entire city and also discover particular places.
\nRent a bike and start exploring our city: you will be amazed by the panorama that the long lagoon offers, or while crossing the centuries-old pine forest of the Bella Italia EFA Village.
\nDon't forget Lignano Riviera, a true oasis of peace in the greenery that runs along the last stretch of the river Tagliamento to its mouth.<\/p>\n

Hemingway Park<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/header>

Close to hotel San Giorgio there is the Hemingway Park, the green park of the area.
\nThe park is named after Ernest Hemingway, who stayed for a period in Lignano and called it \"the Florida of Italy\". Here you can have a picnic on the green meadows in the shade of the maritime pines and let the children play in the different play areas equipped with slides, swings and much more.
\nOr you can do some physical activity: Hemingway park has an equipped gymnastic path and it is great for jogging.
\nDon't miss the children's theatrical performances at the arena in the center of the park!<\/p>\n

After the entrance in Lignano, near the Teghil stadium and the Aquasplash, is located the Monday market.
\nStalls of fruit and vegetables, clothing, cosmetics and many other products color the square from the first light of dawn until 12.30. If you need a break, there are also refreshment points equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas where you can take advantage of a drink, an ice cream or a sandwich.<\/p>\n
